You just started learning about food intolerances and all the symptoms they can cause? And now you're asking yourself what food can we be intolerant to?
You can be intolerant to pretty much everything and anything.
Sorry, it's probably not the answer you wanted to hear but it is unfortunately true: you can be intolerant to pretty much everything and anything. So when I read on some packaged foods or even on recipes that they are allergen free, I'm sorry but it is not necessarily true. It can be true for some people while completely false for others.
From gluten, to all grains (even those that are gluten free) to dairy, eggs but also spices, herbs, meats, fish, seafood, nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits. Yes, you have read correctly also vegetables and fruits. For example, some people can be intolerant to bananas. If you read my article on Yellow Fruits you will find out that even the healthiest fruits can have some side effects on some people.
So not only can you be intolerant to anything but also your food intolerances are very personal. One person's food can be another person's poison.
Food intolerances can differ completely from one person to another
