  • 1 pound (500 g) fresh strawberries
  • 4 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves

Optional :

  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup or unrefined sugar (muscovado or coconut sugar)

  • Give the strawberries a rince under cold water. Remove the green leafy part at the top of each strawberry.
  • Cut the strawberries into bite sized pieces and transfer those into a large bowl. Add the lemon juice, chopped mint and unrefined sugar or maple syrup. Mix to combine all the ingredients. Serve cold or at room temperature. To make this strawberry fruit salad more fancy, transfer it into single serving glasses. Right before serving, add a small mint leaf bouquet on top to decorate. And voilà!
    Bon appétit!
