Elle p\u00e8se g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement entre 1 et 2 kilos mais elle peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre plus petite. Elle se consomme en automne et en hiver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et ci-dessous, voici la photo d'une petite courge butternut en train de pousser dans le jardin pendant la saison estivale. Comme vous pouvez le voir, elle est verte quand elle n'est pas m\u00fbre. Les courges ont besoin de beaucoup de place dans le jardin pour pousser (difficile donc, d'en avoir sur un petit balcon). Certaines personnes ajoutent \u00e9galement du sel mais comme je me sers de ma butternut aussi bien pour des recettes sal\u00e9es que sucr\u00e9es, je ne le fais pas. Pour v\u00e9rifier qu'elle est bien cuite, piquez la lame d'un couteau pointu directement \u00e0 travers la peau: le couteau doit pouvoir s'enfoncer facilement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cuisson \u00e0 la vapeur<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Vous pouvez \u00e9galement faire cuire votre courge butternut \u00e0 la vapeur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lavez votre courge en la passant sous l'eau froide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Retirez la tige en coupant le haut de la courge puis coupez la courge en cubes. Vous pouvez soit retirer la peau avant la cuisson \u00e0 l'aide d'un \u00e9conome (ce qui n'est pas chose facile puisque la courge est tr\u00e8s dure) ou apr\u00e8s la cuisson (dans ce cas la peau s'enl\u00e8vera tr\u00e8s facilement), ou encore vous pouvez laisser la peau et la manger. A vous de voir.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mettez tous les cubes de butternut dans votre panier vapeur ajoutez l'eau selon les instructions de votre cuit-vapeur et faites-les cuire environ 30 minutes ou
